Snaptube for PC is a pretty handy Android app if you want to download free online music and videos straight to your Android smartphone or tablet. We are thinking in particular of regions with little Internet coverage but also of connectivity concerns on the move (train, metro, plane, etc.). The service supports many audio and video platforms such as YouTube, Dailymotion, SoundCloud, Vimeo, Twitter and Facebook and allows fast downloading. Advertisements, on the other hand, are unfortunately ubiquitous.

Why use Snaptube for Android?
Snaptube is a free application for downloading music and videos from the internet directly to a phone or tablet under Android OS. After searching for an artist within a meta search engine, the media – audio or video – can be put into offline mode. In other words, Snaptube is akin to Vidmate. However, a small weak point: the application is not listed on the Play Store.
How to install Snaptube for PC?
You can use an Android emulator such as BlueStacks and NoxPlayer which are famous Android emulators that work well with Windows and MacOS. With them, you can download and install Android and iOS applications on your computer and also use external hardware like your mouse and keyboard. Or you can download and install it by the Microsoft Store.
Snaptube is compatible with many services
However Snaptube’s real strength lies in its meta-search engine. It is thus possible to make a request on YouTube, Dailymotion, SoundCloud, Vimeo, Twitter and Facebook and to download videos there. But Snaptube goes even further by offering the download of video clips in several resolutions or simply the audio stream in audio. From the outset Snaptube can thus be transformed into a gigantic musical platform within which you can search for an artist and proceed to download titles in the form of MP3 files. No matter the resolution or the format, these downloads are “free” (well let’s say that if the application is not listed on the Play Store, there is probably a reason…)
Snaptube: getting started
A positive point: the application is translated into French, at least in large part. As soon as Snaptube is opened, the interface is very intuitive. If by default, the search on Snaptube is carried out with the YouTube database, it is nevertheless possible to configure the downloading functionalities on other platforms mentioned above. Downloading a clip is done quickly via the small icon positioned next to each thumbnail and title. Regarding the video part, we encountered loading errors on several occasions, however this does not affect the possibility of recovering the audio stream. Note also the presence of the reader directly within the Android notifications pane but also a shortcut bar to the different sections of the application. The management of downloaded files is relatively classic. In a section with all your downloads, you can find your video and audio files with just one click. You will then be able to erase them or listen to them as you wish. Be careful though, the presence of advertising is intrusive to say the least, inviting you to download a multitude of applications. This is the price to pay to enjoy free titles in offline mode.
